Chrome Extension to show a chat partner's time zone for for all the folk chatting with people in other timezones. Currently supports Discord and Instagram's web clients.
Context
I was chatting with a bunch of people in different time zones, including friends and freelance clients. Keeping track of all their times was a bit of a headache, so I ended up making this Chrome extension that modifies the following websites, infers the user based on the URL and stores it in local storage.
This was one of my first vibe-coded projects in which I barely had to make code changes, limited only to minor fine-tuning for the URL and Local Storage logic.
